Come mek wi dig out dem roots!!

A series of FREE to attend introductory and skills based sessions on  Family History and Genealogical workshops and talks will be delivered by Caribbean Genealogist and Family Historian, Sharon Tomlin. Sharon is the founder of Carib Genealogy & Family History Research Services.  Ayshah Johnston is a fellow Genealogist and Family Historian who will deliver on some sessions with Sharon. Sharon will be delivering some sessions through Family History Detectives.

The sessions are aimed at all researchers ages fourteen years old and over, no upper age limit. You are welcome to attend all sessions. It is advised that you bring information such as names, dates of births, marriages or deaths as well as place names such as districts and parishes on the family documenting from you through to the 4th generation of you family line or lines for you to work with as the sessions will be interactive .

Sessions will cover using the internet, navigating through resources pertinent to the Caribbean and UK regions with overviews on resources, illustrations of physical evidence required.

Please note that booking is required to attend most sessions with exception of “Round the World in Bedfordshire” session to be held in Bedforshire which is a drop-in session. See below for details.
